Tim Draper has revised his projected timeframe for Bitcoin price to reach $250,000 to June 2025.
While maintaining an optimistic outlook, Draper acknowledges that the timeline for achieving his predicted price target has been extended.
I guess we have to wait a little longer… It may take two more years.
Tim Draper Remains Confident Despite Missing The Mark
The news stems from a recent tweet, where the venture capitalist reflected on his previous prediction when the price of Bitcoin was $4,000. Draper anticipated a 60-fold increase that would lead to a price of $250,000 by now.
However, with BTC ending June below $31,000, Draper concedes that the anticipated milestone has not been reached. He now believes that Bitcoin may take until the end of June 2025 to achieve the $250,000 price point.
Draper’s $250K Target By End Of 2022
Draper had initially forecasted that Bitcoin would hit $250,000 by the end of 2022.
Although his prediction missed the mark, he remains confident that the cryptocurrency will still reach the projected level before the 2024 halving.
If the target is not met by mid-2024, Draper affirms his belief that Bitcoin will surpass the $250,000 milestone by the close of 2024.
Tim Draper On Women’s Adoption on BTC Price Surge
At the time, Draper highlighted the potential impact of women adopting Bitcoin as a reason for its price surge. He anticipated that a greater number of women getting into Bitcoin would contribute to driving the cryptocurrency’s value beyond his current estimate.
