BitcoinTalk is the most known open forum to host discussion s about Bitcoin (BTC), cryptocurrencies, and the cypherpunk movement. The legendary forum is often used as a historical source for Bitcoin. Interestingly, Satoshi Nakamoto created the Bitcoin Forum in 2009. It migrated to the bitcointalk.org domain registered by Jeff Garzik in 2011 and is currently managed by pseudonymous “theymos” with a few other contributors. On December 1, 2023, theymos announced “mixers to be banned” on BitcoinTalk. “Bitcointalk.org aims to allow about as much freedom as is reasonably possible.
